Game On Diet, here I come!

You should have seen me trying to update this blog at home last night (it didn’t work)… after about an hour or so of trying, I ended up sending what I had written to myself so I could upload it today.

That being said…

I’m not going to lie, I’m completely floored… 2,052 views, and 20 people following my blog? I feel the love definitely. 🙂

And with that in mind…………. GAME ON.

Starting today (I had to change it from the tomorrow I had put last night lol), I am participating in a “diet” competition with a huge group of people (I’m on a team of three) and we are going to be counting points for various healthy (and docking points for unhealthy) parts of our lives. So, for the next four weeks, I am going to REALLY be watching everything that I do.

To a T.

Meaning, I had 5 meals (essentially, 3 “meals” and 2 snacks… but they’re the same portions) already planned and packed last night for today. I know when I’ll get my exercise in. I have my habits to work on. And I am set to play this game.

As of right now, I am between meals 1 and 2, and have my first 41 points of the day added up. Woo!

The downside is, I’ve gained .5 back of that 17.9 (so now I’m at 17.4… look, I can do math!) because I’ve been indulging the past two days in things I knew I was going to be giving up for the next few weeks – Coke Zero, Chick Fil A, chocolate covered pretzels…. those types of things. And I didn’t get my work out in (besides the dog walking) yesterday, so that didn’t really help much.

Today, however, is a new day, and it’s off to a great start (a 41 point start that is!).
